In the opinion of this random internet person, it would be more difficult to answer for Quinn than for Cernovich if it comes down to counting moral failings. AFAIK, Mike hasn't caused anyone to commit suicide based on a mixture of dubious and outright refuted allegations.

The timing is a bit strange for a Trump bashing session as he seems to have faded from consciousness for the 99% of people who aren't in desperate need of a political talking point. I can only promise to listen to the first 15 minutes, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Fascianating interview and I thank you for posting it. I had not heard Mike Cernovich speak before. It's safe to say that I was not expecting such thoughtful answers.

About 20 minutes into the interview, he indicated he was most opposed to violence against animals and the violence the USA metes out to other countries via its imperalistic foreign policy. And I thought "Whoa, Leighton might as well be interviewing Ian MacKaye" (if you happen to know who that is).

That being said...there was a point during the interview where he remarked that he was generally opposed to immigration because it was introducing too many people who "were inconsistent with the ethos of the country". I think that - as a journalist - you should have asked him about what he meant by that because it's certainly a provocative statement. I couldn't help thinking you left something on the table there.

Cernovich:

“Rape via an alpha male is different from other forms of rape. We can't really understand this, as our culture is too detached from instinct.”

“I went from libertarian to alt-right after realizing tolerance only went one way and diversity is code for white genocide.”

“Today we have a moment of silence for Trayvon Martin’s rape victims. Kidding! He got got before he was able to rape anyone.”

And a friend and fan of Stefan Molyneu, race and IQ etc.

Fascism as critique of liberal hypocrisy. Flavor of the month.
