Please, please, please. Will SOMEBODY do a serious, calm, point-by-point examination on the election audits, so we can all have a sense of how serious the evidence really is, or not? Having met Patrick Byrne and knowing about him, I simply cannot dismiss him as a nutcase.

What's should be stated more directly is that the standard orientation of a person is that their cognition—their identity, essentially—is so thoroughly integrated with culture—and the more attuned to the social hierarchy one is the more true this is—that a massive disruption in a, usually stable, cultural identity can easily twist the, usually stable, individual identity beyond recognition.

Most of the time, the culture is relatively stable. But we need to start recognizing that the delusional mass hysterias that follow these national insults, inducing periods of unusual, collective, cognitive instability, are indicating that large populations are so cognitively integrated with dominant culture that when culture is offended it will drag the population out of its orientation with reality to defend it's own self-image.

Two of my favorite contemporary commentators, I look forward to listening when I get home from the office.

Sadly, I remain triggered by the use of "media" as a singular noun; as well as the initial capitalization of "black" and "white." I know language evolves, and I am now (much to my surprise and alarm), an old guy.
