shocked you'd be on a podcast with such a problematic person...

He just kept begging and begging me. It was really quite sad.

OK. I am new to conversing in social media, so I feel uncomfortable addressing you directly. Yes, I have been under a rock for the past 20 years. I am so grateful to have bumbled my way to substack via wondering how in the heck Bari Weiss and Matt Taibbi had left their prestigious jobs. Anyway, what I want to tell you here, Leighton, is that from 14:40-32:30 you articulated EXACTLY my analysis of today’s social and political activity. How amazing to find that someone else has arrived at the same analysis as I. The remainder of the podcast echoed my thoughts as well, although I don’t know some of the players you mentioned. This was a great interview. Thank you for your bravery and insight. Also, I am a huge fan of Khan Academy, which I use regularly with my gifted son and in my work with gifted students. It is great for curriculum replacement for kids ahead of their grade level and for those needing tutoring. I even sometimes use it to refresh myself on topics before lectures. So, Substack and Kahn Academy are the coolest things on the internet.

Thanks so much! And welcome to this little community where I think you'll find a lot of others who also share your political thinking.

You're uncomfortable about telling LW directly that he's just as insightful as you?

To wit! I am uncomfortable addressing him directly rather than commenting on the post. Especially with something that could be interpreted as nonsense. “ oh, we think just alike…”🙄
