I really don't like blanket definitions of "assault" for this reason. The idea that anyone would waste the time of our legal system claiming a grown ass man was assaulted by his pathway being "blocked" is ridiculous.

For the life of me I'll never come to terms how any issues as soon as it involves Palestinians make peoples principles fall to the way side.

During The Troubles in Ireland you had bipartisan support (from even future president Biden) for the IRA so it's not "terrorism" that creates this.

Saying that at some point an issue will arrive that will highlight a blindspot in any advocacy group.

Not condoning or agreeing with it in this case with FIRE, but it's inevitable.

Example of this in the states is with civil libertarians when it involves second amendment issues.

You'll see a normal expansive interpretation of every other of the Bill of Rights but that one from them.

Personally better to break bread where in agreement and hope to be in a position to influence when possible.
